My washing machine died while still full of water. How do I get the water out?

My washing machine died while still full of water. How do I get the water out? I need to replace this machine, but it won't even turn on anymore.

I got all the wet clothes out, but it is full of water, so it is heavy and hard to move. When the new machine is delivered, will the delivery guy drain it for me, or do I need to do it myself? How?

Siphon You can buy a siphon hose at a hardware store or use a 5 foot piece of water hose. Tools you need Hose Bucket 1. Place hose in washer make sure it is at the bottom 2.

Place bucket on ground making sure it is lower that the washer tub 3. Suck water thru the tube, as soon as water hits your mouth, remove from you mouth and point stream into bucket 4. As soon as bucket gets full place thumb over hole keeping hose pointed down or fold end of hose to create crimp point.5.

Empty bucket and return to floor 5. Release thumb or crip point Here is a hose boatshowproducts.com/SuperSiphon.html?gc... Here is an example: Note it is the same principle as syponing gas. ~XSpoonX~'s Recommendations LUBRIMATIC-STANT-TRUFLATE 75-847 SYPHON HOSE .

Your delivery guy may do it for you but will want a nice tip You can bail most of it out with a fair size cup, or you can try to siphon it out using a garden hose. Siphoning requires putting one end of the hose in the water, and sucking on the other end with your mouth, holding that end lower than the level of the water. Since this is dirty laundry water, and a dirty hose, I do not recommend it, but once the water starts flowing, it will empty quickly.

You probably cannot siphon into a sink, since they are high off the ground, so run the hose out a window or door. Bailing takes longer, but you won’t taste a hose. When the delivery man arrives, let him know your problem.

He has probably seen this before. He will probably advise you to get as much out as you can. This is where you can offer a nice tip if he takes care of it for you.

He will probably wheel it out with the rest of the water, and dump it on your lawn. Be prepared for that. There may also be a haul-away-fee, whether there is water or not.Be prepared for that too.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
