Probably a normal response to conditions. Some suggestions- As a service technician for a number of years (too many, I sometimes think), now semi-retired, I'll pass on the following: Your hose is probably "jumping" when the machine's fill-valve opens and closes. If only on HOT side, you may want a plumber to check your water heater and line pressure- it shold be same on both hot & cold sides (there are two separate fill valves).1) Your water pressure is probably on the high side- a regulator may be in order (ask water bureau to check).2) make sure you installed new hoses and replace them every 5 years."Armored" hoses are a good investment.3) TURN OFF your water valves when not in use- there are automatic valves available now, many are installed in new houses to prevent flooding if a hose bursts or a fill valve goes "wonkie".

4) Surge devices can be installed to moderate "water hammer" or hose jumping. Sometime not fully opening the valve will help.5) If this is not a new machine, check for strainer screens in your inlet ports- they may be occluded- clean or replace (new hoses?! ).

If you have trouble with these, ask a friend or get a service person out. Often they offer "preventive maintenace checks" or "tune-ups" which may include checking inlet screens, replacing hoses, etc. Hope this helps _sa Sources: been there, done that, service with a smile...

That's normal Just secure the hose to anything that's nearby. Sometimes the solenoid in the water valve can bounce a little causing the hose to move around, it's not unusual. But, if it gets worse or the water starts and stops frequently in a short period of time, you may want to replace the solenoid..

1 Sounds like some sort of air lock. Can you undo it and re connect it? I presume it is where it comes from your hot water service?

Check the hot water system. Could also be a valve in the machine or electrical malfunction. Sorry!

2 A bit of water surge should be nomal. Is anything leaking? If not, let it be.

3 Seems to be just the pressure - wouldnt worry - most of them do that - it is the flooding that isnt supposed to happen...til then 'go with the flow' .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
