My wife wants me to make iced tea today. I don't really drink this. Any recommendations for good teas but unmixed with fruit/aromas/flavors?

Preparation for Iced tea: ------------------------------- Per 8 oz -- 2tsp of tea(preferably green tea); Heat fresh water until steam rises175 degree F. Let steep for 1 minute. Note: if infused tea is cooled prior to pouring over ice, additional tea and time is not necessary.

The classic tea for iced tea is a strong black tea; Assam might be a good choice: ratetea.net/style/assam/31/ But you can make iced tea from lighter teas as well. I personally think that most high-quality loose-leaf teas make good iced teas. I like brisk Chinese pan-fired green teas, like a Chun Mee / Zhen Mei: ratetea.net/style/chun-mee/18/ That tea works well because it has a tangy quality.

I'm less a fan of the smoother oolongs for iced tea, I think iced tea works best with teas that have a bite to them.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
