Yep... but the problem is liquid or dampness in the unit. Even though you're saying your friend's foot is the reason... it isn't (unless she broke her foot).
So it is likely someone has spilt a drink or water over the unit. If you have a pet.. you might find that the animal has been urinating over the unit when you are not watching. Not all cats and dogs like that game (or friends)!
Don't put other games in it... get it fixed and claim it on your insurance. Move the unit to an area above the floor and not only save your friend's feet, but also your unit from your pet.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
