Need help finding a Harlequin book title and author. The heroine goes to spend the summer with her sister who just married and older gentleman with a son who is the hero. She is a reporter.

The hero falls madely in love with her but she doesn't notice him but they are very close friends over the years. Then one night she makes an unannounced visit to his apartment and finds him with another woman and she relizes she has feeling for him. This is a very steamy book.

Need help finding the title of a book with no author. I last read this book over 30 years ago so it's an old one. The science fiction story is about a teen age boy on an island.

The boy has an alien police officer residing in his body. The alien communicates with the boy by placing text in the boy's eye so the boy can see it. The alien police officer convinces the boy to help him capture another alien criminal.

The main character is a woman, she has implants to hook up to a VR game of medieval tournament and life. The plot runs from her success on the tourney field to a plot to kill her for knowing to much about a hack into another game that leads to real dangers.

I have been searching for this book a long time and can't find even a glimmer. The heroine is a SCA member and the love interest is in a wheelchair. There are scenes I can describe, but no idea whatever about the author or title.

Centered around a girl who'd seen her mother raped and beaten to death by soldiers when she was still very young, so she tries to hide/deny her gender by often spending large amounts of time in the woods dressed as a young boy and also takes up "boyish" pursuits. She is betrothed (by the king?) to a man, also a soldier, but when he comes to collect her she again takes to the woods and tries to escape him. He goes in search of her and she is so terrified she shoots (at) him with an arrow.

If I remember correctly, she has an older sister who tries to convince her marriage is not so bad, but the older sister doesn't know that she saw what was done to their mother. Anyway, this is what I can recall. If anyone knows what book this might be, and better yet has it, I would be amazingly grateful!

Need help finding a book - no title or author I only have some memories of the book. I read it in the early to mid 90's. All I remember was that is was a science fiction book, it took place on a "space train," it had a cat like creature that lived on the train, the main character I believe was male, there was a particular scene where a unique flower was described that grew in water and had a translucent almost magical quality.

The cover was dark and if I remember correctly had a far away picture of the train snaking through a valley, but it's been a long time. I also think I remember the name of the book being difficult to pronounce, but I really can't remember. Any help remembering is much appreciated!

Book From my childhood in the 60's. It was about a turtle named Tagalong (?spelling) who had animal friends that were always too fast for him and they found him to be a nuisance. Every page included ..."oh no, there was tagalong" as he always showed up at inopportune moments.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
