Need help finding title of YA book about a girl who spends time w/ relative and falls in love w/ a ghost named Starr A teenage girl is spending time caring for a sickly relative, possibly an aunt or great-aunt. She is rummaging in the attic and finds an old dress and a gramophone. The girl plays a record and begins dancing around, and encounters the ghost of a young man in a photograph that she also found in the attic.

I think his name was Starr and he was a soldier and died young. It seems like he was the aunt's boyfriend or something. They spend a lot of time together and fall in love.

I wish I could give you the exact name of the book, but i'm having a difficult time getting the author or title. I did, however, find two references to a book in which Jada moves in with her uncle and bedridden aunt and meets the ghost of her cousin's fiance, who was a soldier in WWII. Hopefully this is enough for you to find it!

It took some time to get the keyword combination right so that I wasn't only coming up with war books or ghost books or murder stories or colonial american stories or... you get the idea.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
