Change your distributer, and your distributer cap. Also change the rotor button in the distributer. Answer Try turning the key almost like you are going to crank it but don't and listen to see if the fuel pump engages.

You should be able to hear it turn on. If you can't hear it, most likely it is shot. Have you noticed the car stalling out at all at unusual times?
