Now that it is proven TX executed at least 2 innocent men why death penalty is still supported?

I've had some trouble deciding what I think about the death penalty, and this kind of case is the reason that I sometimes think it should be abolished. Like you said, 13 out of 15 is NOT good enough. Two innocent people being put to death is just wrong, and if we continue to knowingly employ a system that has those kinds of odds, we are all guilty of murder.

If there is one tiny shred of doubt or the possibility that the person on death row is innocent, it needs to be investigated immediately and thoroughly. It's unbelievable what's happening to this man. Wow... cannot believe some of the idiots answering this one- saying things like " well it's a little late for an investigation now" and "what about the 3000 abortions that happened today" These people seriously must be eating brain tumors at every meal.

I know some take the Stalin philosophy, one death is a tragedy, many (millions) is just a statistic.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
