Obama and assault rifle ban...?

Relax. The One is just pandering to His "liberal" base. Ain't NONE o' that gonna happen.

I will accept a ban if you can explain how a .30-06 which would go through three people is less of an "assault" than a lesser caliber AR-type one based on its APPEARANCE. Or how you die less from one bullet than you can from ten. Anyone who owns guns prefers a standard-sized 15 round magazine for one reason: its a pain in the as... or at least the fingers... to reload when we target shoot!

In so far as "ten rounds" verses "fifteen round" magazines: it takes but max TWO SECONDS to reload and with either YOU WOULD BE JUST AS DEAD. 150 years ago, the SCOTUS said regarding Dred Scott that he was property and must be returned to his owners... and this too was called "the LAW"! All you create with you "laws" are more CRIMINALS because many, like me, would and will not surrender my guns!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
