The Coast Guard (Canadian and American) monitor VHF and there is important marine weather information available too. The new VHF radios have a great emergency feature called DCS that can be programmed to give the vessel’s location in case of emergency. Don’t leave home without it!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
