Depends. In some states you are required to have taken continuing education classes during the year in order to renew your license. Classes and license renewal aren't cheap, so if you are retired and know you won't be working it would be pointless to keep the license.
I just let my nursing license expire after having it 35 years. It was difficult to let it go after working so hard to get it but I am physically no longer able to work in nursing.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
