OK, so everyone hates/wants shot of Gordon Brown. Who here truly believes that David Cameron is the answer?

I'm a progressive libertarian. I don't think the rich hate the poor, or poor hate the rich. Some rich people assume it's easy to get rich, since they did it.

Republicans just don't care, so yes - selfish. But the people behind the repubs have an agenda involving keeping most of the world poor, and therefore easy to control and make money off of. The poor don't need enabling (it's a lack of something).

I guess the issue is not hating the poor but hating the system. Young women growing up with parents on welfare are AUTOMATICALLY put into the system when they are 18. Advertisements asking people to get food stamps?

Why? I heard a women quit her job because a young man 20 years old came in with a cash card from the gov to buy cigarettes. Really?

The gov gives people a cash card? Why? The young man is surely able to flip burgers, no?

A woman opens her purse and dumps out 30 cell phones, all supplied for free. Why? I think most people are just fed up with a badly managed number of programs that should help the needy, but are used and abused drastically.

It is not the fault of the people, people will take whatever you give them. It is the fault of the administrators at the different agencies, not the poor.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
