Ok what do you like better,a helpful vote,or the asker acknoweldging your answer,with a written reply?Or both?

The written words are much better. That way you know it was read by the asker, and how they feel about your comment, in most cases. You have no idea who gave you a TU or TD when you get one--the asker might not have even read it, and the TU/TD from someone who just read the answer.It shows more appreciation that someone has taken the time to actually write a response.

It's too easy to just give a TU! But I do understand sometimes people are in a hurry and don't have time to write stuff, or there just isn't a good comment to leave! Poppet!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
