Please tell us where you read or heard it (including the quote, if possible).

1 I see no end to people making mistakes. They seem to have made a big one. But it cost them a refund.

What is the problem? Suckers spend time thinking others are doing better. I just enjoy what I have.

2 >Do only suckers pay taxes/ If you had read the entire article, instead of stopping at the words "Obama appointee" and "didn't file taxes" and rubbing your hands together in glee as you rushed to ask this "question", you would have seen that she didn't owe any taxes. As a matter of fact, she was entitled to $37,259 in refunds. This of course, doesn't in any way excuse the fact that she didn't file.

But the article also says that she corrected this "mistake" in november of last year, and wasn't nominated by Obama until May of this year. Your attempt to play this like Obama appointed her and THEN found out - "Oops, here we go again" - is not valid. Sorry, LouLou - like Jakx said - you are on a role this evening.

Too bad in your effort to "keep it spicy" you forgot to read the entire article. Which brings me to asking an actual question. If you are entitled to a tax refund, do you legally have to file taxes?

And since she is entitled to a refund, what do you all think would be a fitting punishment for forgetting to file, or as she claims, having a miscommunication between her husband and accountant? .

3 When you are eligible for a refund, nobody cares... A real cheat does not file cause they OWE TAXES....

LouLou replied to post #2: 4 Silly me! I forgot that if you "forget" all you have to do is say, Sorry and correct it. Then there is always that "miscommunication" between the person and their accountant.

Too bad Al Capone was not alive today. He ended up going to prison for Tax evasion. Today he would have received a cabinet post.As far as me being on a roll, heck someone has to since this place has been dead dead dead for days now.

A little spice got your blood pressure going Turbo. :) .

TurboB replied to post #4: 5 Thats right, LouLOu. Never admit you messed up! How can you use dead beat as a topic when she didn't owe anything?

What does Al Capone have to do with anything in this DB? However, since we are totally ignoring the fact that your attempted Obama slam fell flat on its face, I will agree with you. This place has been dead for days!

> A little spice got your blood pressure going Turbo. :) And I thank you for that, Lou! I have been so bored with this site lately!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
