Personally, I'd say emotions came first and that they dictate what an individual thinks is good and what is evil. In order to feel the emotion of "good," one has to be able to know what "bad" is. As in, "I had a good day at the office" or "We went to a restaurant and the food was bad."
When I think of "evil," I don't just think "bad," I think "really, really, REALLY bad,. " In my mind, work and food don't fit into the category of "Evil. ".
Sure, the boss might be terrible and the waiter may be lousy, but save for a few rare exceptions, based on those experiences, I do not believe either could be judged as "evil. " A lot of other human factors go into one's perception of evil, too, like religion, cultural norms, a person's own experiences. I will give two very good examples: 1.
Religion may dictate how evil premarital sex is. But fess up, y'all (and I know there will be comments on this one), it's gonna be the overwhelming guilt that makes you hesitate or ultimately not do it.. 2. Someone may think drunk driving is just a stupid, dangerous thing to do, but the person standing next to them, whose entire family was wiped out by a drunk teenager, might think it's crossed the line into something that is purely evil.
Here's another thing created by a man that evokes he emotion of excitement, and it is bad to the bone and it doesn't get any more Evel than this.
Easy, emotions came first. You just have to look at animals, who don't have an explicit notion of 'good & evil', but definitely have emotions. Humans 'created' the notion of good and evil when religion was born.
Emoions came first and they dictated good and evil. I think yiou can still see this today by looking at different cultures. What one finds normal another finds evil.In the Mid East they stone woman for adultery and in the West this is an evil practice.
So it is people's emotion that decide good to evil.
If you believe in the idea of Creation, Good and Evil came first. God created a perfect world, Satan rebelled and thus was evil. When Adam and Eve sinned, emotions thus came.
Hope I answered your question. Compliments from.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
