Opinions of non-Muslim women wearing hijab/niqab?

Salam wr wb Sister no offense but you should not be opposed to the niqab or jilbab rather. At one point in time all Muslim women wore the jilbab/niqab because in surah ahzab Allah commanded it read surah ahzab sister. Later on surah nur was revealed and the clothing for women changed a bit and was more lax.

Now women do not "have" to cover their faces it is optional BUT it IS RECOMENDED because: 1. Allah loves modesty 2. The prophet saws wives wore them and whatever they do is automatically.

Recommended and best for the rest of the women. To dislike niqab is wrong in Islam because it was an order for the prophets wives and a source of Allah's good pleasure. Now it seems to me the reason you dislike it is because of ignorance and not enough Qur'an recitation and reading.

Everything loved by Allah is to be lobed by ALL of us. Yes! Kuffar hate niqab!

Why!? Because they can't lustfully look at our women like shaytan and their filthy souls want! And they hate for us to please Allah!

Do NOT follow footsteps of shaytan and kuffar who dislike the niqab and call it oppression. When in fact it is liberation from being preyed on by men! All Muslims who have a problem with niqab need to pick up a quran and check their Oman because there is a problem in your heart that Allah can remove with his book.

Salam wr wb sister :) Hamza yusuf is a SUFI first of all. Secondly he is not crediblenif he dislikes or speaks against the niqab The true ulema love it.

Some believe it's required because of hadiths. It's Sunnah and some people like to follow as many Sunnah things as possible. Niqaab is an easy one to follow in the minds of some people.

I've worn it on two occasions. One during a dust storm when I had to go out, and another when I had a bad fibromyalgia flare when any sunlight caused intense pain. Maybe not all of these women were wearing it for religious reasons.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
