Orthodox Baha'i?

Thank you. That is very peaceful and nice. How did you become familiar with this religion?

Were your family members of that faith?Lizzee.

The Orthodox Baha'i Faith began in Persia in 1844. Founded by two Prophets, the Bab and Baha'u'llah. The Bab, a title meaning the Gate, taught for about 6 years that he was the Gate or Forerunner of another Prophet who would immediatelyu come after him, and was publically executed in 1850.

Baha'u'llah, a title meaning the Glory of God, proclaimed that he was the Prophet that the Bab foretold. He was banished from Persia and sent to Akka, and died in Israel in 1892. The tomb of the Bab is located on Mount Carmel in Israel.

The teachings of the Faith include the equality of men and women, the elimination of all forms of prejudice, the independant investigation of truth, the basic harmony between science and religion, the establishment of world peace through the establishment of a universal parliment of mankind, and many more such advanced teachings. There is more about the Baha'i under the topics column, under religion under Bahai.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
