There are usually coils underneath the frig. Most of them have a grill in the front that just pops off. There are coils under there somewhere and they get covered with dust, fur, etc.By pulling it out you may have given it some extra air it needed, but I really think you have coils under there somewhere.

Open the door of the refrigerator and the grill is at the bottom. It usually just pulls up and out or just out depending on the kind of clips holding it on. I bought a coil cleaner for about $5 at Menards and it really does a good job.

Thanks! Our settings were at #5 and then turned to #7. I also think that we have too many IN AND OUTS here plus the doors not closed properly and last the summers heat has it working harder!
