If a month to month rental, NO. You have paid for March with your most recent payment, so you are paid through the end of the month. If a lease, however, you MAY be obligated to pay for many months as that is determined by the terms in the lease.
You may have to pay through the entire end of the lease period. For example, if your lease is from Jan 1 trough Dec 31, and you leave by choice in March, you may have to pay through the end of the year anyway depending on the exact wording in the lease.
It's really hard for us to answer. The truth is that it's entirely dependent on your lease agreement. If you were month to month, you might not have to pay for April.
If you are ending your lease early, there is almost certainly a penalty. Second: The thirty days usually marks the last months payment. So if the notice goes into the next month, usually you have to pay some.
They might pro-rate the rent for you though. As for the ants and the neighbors? Unless that complaint was made in writing and you have some proof of documentation, it means very little.
