Of the five, Banana Republic Although, I do most of my shopping at Old Navy, and, for more formal attire, Brooks Brothers. I wish there were a few more choices, sure. Sources: My answer .

None & No. I've been in the first two stores, but never bought anything. I've seen the last two stores, but never been inside one.

And "Club Monaco" I've never even heard of. I buy my clothes from the semi-annual sales catalogs or web specials from Arc'Teryx, Ex Officio, Lands' End, Patagonia, REI-Outlet, and Sierra Trading Post. Sources: websites .

Seriously, one of the things I love about Alaska is that we tend to dress for comfort (and the cold), not for style. REI and Cabela's top my list. Doesn't everyone buy on the basis of whether it'll layer?

2 I think that french connection and Anthropologie are a bit pricier than the others. My wife spends way too much at J.crew....myself I think that they really only do preppy and frankly brooks brothers does preppy much better at not much more price.J. Crew and banana republic are basically the layover between Old Navy/Gap/Limited and Chicos/Coldwater Creek/J.
