Out of these four laptops which would be the best for medium gaming and schoolwork?

If it was me I would but either the Gateway or the Acer. Just in case you do not know it, Gateway was bought out last year by Acer, I guess that is why the specs are so close. Since I play a lot of games like World of War Craft and others, I have a Desk Top Gateway running Vista and it is a very good computer.

I bought this before Gateway was bought out, but it works just great. I also have a Laptop that I got at Christmas since I had been sick since last June. I could not play my games because I could not sit at the computer very long.So for Christmas I got a Laptop.

It is a HP DV7 Laptop. It was customized so it has a lot of memory and a good video card in it.It runs as good as my Desktop and will do everything as good or better that my Desktop. I now use it all the time for everything.

I would say the Gateway laptop would be the best, based on the CPU/GPU it uses. The CPU in the Gateway laptop is clocked at 2.4ghz, which is the same as one of the Acer laptops. However, reviews online lead me to believe that the Radeon 5650 will do better than the Nvidia 330M, so Gateway seems to be the best.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
