Short answer: Don't get Black OPs. Long Answer: Doesn't matter what card you get. Even with the best card, people are experiencing hardware lag.
You can try an HD5870 if you like ATI or a 460 if you like GeForce. Important thing is to go for more pipeline. More shaders, faster core clock.
Multiple cores are better even if the clock speed is lower. Same goes for the ram. Multiple ram modules are better even if they are less.
So, get DDR5 even if you settle for less than a 1GHz ram clock. Fact is, there's something wrong with the game architecture. What's funny, is it appears to have been built on the WaW game engine, so, while at close inspection the graphics look better in detail, the overall 3D experience is somewhat lacking in comparison to MW2.
I was completely unimpressed when I turned the game on at all settings. What's more, is I'm running a 3.6GHz Quad with an HD5850. It's a pretty moderate line card, but performs in ways you can't imagine for the money.
It has no problem with recent stress tests, can't seem to max it out. The game looks pretty good at max settings, and it runs at 50-70 FPS on 1280x1024 (not much in my opinion). But I couldn't figure out why I couldn't kill anyone.
Turns out, there's some hardware lag between the 3D engine and the hit time. No matter how good your card is, your time from trigger pull to actual reported hit on the enemy's PC in multiplayer is slowed significantly, and there's no explanation. Turning down the settings, even though they run beautifully, completely smashes that problem.
I went from 0/16 to 30/8 in a matter of minutes by changing the settings. I thought my hardware just wasn't keeping up, but a quick scroll of some forums revealed that lot's of gamers with serious hardware were having this problem. If you're only doing single player (who does that?) you'll be fine with the above card.
The game can't touch that card, and it's relatively cheap.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
