Requirements for the USMC : High School graduate or G.E.D. No Felonies No out- standing arrest warrants. A passing score on the ASVAB ( Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery ) As far as I know there is no height requirement generally speaking - maybe depending on certain specialties ( like a fighter pilot for example ). I can tell you this though ... get yourself mentally prepared for the most challenging twelve weeks you've ever been through.
Marine Corps Boot Camp is TOUGH. That's why they say " The Few, The Proud, The Marines" As far as being in shape - I would suggest that you at LEAST get yourself up to running three miles on your own and work on sit-ups, leg raises ( keeping your heels 6 inches from touching the ground on the down ) push-ups and pullups. No matter what you do, they'll make you better.
No matter what you do ... DON'T QUIT. You're making a commitment to greatness. Above all else - HONOR is the most important requirement.
Good Luck and Godspeed.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
