Teh chances if being allowed to enlist at all are about zilch as your spouse is AD. As for being in a different branch.. even LESS likely. Co location is never a gty when it is for the same branch.
It;s not even an option when you are in different ones.
You could be stationed where you could live on the base with your daughter or get a discounted house by the military but the spouse program thing rarely works out but why don't you join the Air Force so you have a better chance of being with your husband and daughter. I'm more concerned for your daughter because although my dad is a commanding officer I always had my mom for moral support on everything. I have a friend in school that have both parents in the military but their is generally at least one parent home.
If you and your husband are in different branches you do not understand how hard it is on the child.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
