Yes, especially on sentencing you even see that feminist organisations are the only ones pushing for a change to the system, the lighter-sentencing for females is based on religious-ideas, which is very anti-feminist in it's foundation, it's odd feminists always get blamed for that very traditional, very conservative way of thinking. Education, and housing equality is actually already taken care of in the law, WHEN there is equality, the dynamics of favoring will fade, since there is no equality though, there needs to be favoring to balance the system, it's a side-effect of our style of Democracy, again not a gender-issue, but a Socio-Political one.
