Please Help! College student looking for affordable, quality digital camera?

SInce your hiding the name of the camera, I will assume you do as my best friend did. He went on a cruise (read lots of money$$$) and set his camera for the maximum number of pictures he could get from his memory card! This is backwards.

You set the camera for the smallest number of pictures available for the memory card in the camera at the time of this setting. In fact I only set my cameras to "maximum resolution" only once and leave them there! I can always "dumb down" the pixels for email or what ever, on the computer.

Next use reasonable ISO number like ISO 400 or less. I only used ASA 200 film in the 'film era", so I use ISO of 200 or less. If I tripod mount I use ISO 125.

THIRD try to use high f/stops like f/8, f/11, f/16 and f/22. Now if I have confused you! Your best bet is to invest in one or two of Scot Kelby's books called "The Digital Photography Book , volume!

, volume 2, etc. Sell for about $16.00 each. PLUS he gives you access to his web site on each book explaining in greater detail with examples which make it easier to understand his lesson/chapter. Good Luck.

Just wanted to back up the other answers - they are all pretty good, try popping into your local library and reading a few photography guide and technique books, that should help. If you're a You Tube fan...search for 'Pro photographer cheap camera challenge' and you'll get a idea of how to 'improvise' with poor quality equipment. Don't be put off...keep trying...practice does make perfect..Good Luck..!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
