As long as the cage is clean and he is eating he should be okay. Try not to stress him out with loud noises. Keep monitoring him though.
You do not have a male and female together right? The male will eat the pinkies and if they do breed and live (if you separate them in time) they will inbreed so fast it will be disastrous. If you have boy and girl buy two cages.
They can still be friends but never mix them! I'm glad to hear somebody cares about rats! Not everyone feeds them to snakes huh?

Everyone is right for the most part, except rodents aren't actually nocturnal they are diurnal actually bordering on crepuscular. Meaning they are most active around dawn and dusk.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
