Call the credit card company and let them know you're laid off so can't make the payments for awhile, and ask them if there's anything they can do for you like cut the interest rate.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
