Our very large firm (+100K employees) will be standardizing on the E6400, and we are known for being picky as heck. I'm guessing Dell got something right for us to commit to buying so many E6400s. We're also standardizing on a Lenovo for our subnotebook form-factor, which also says something about that brand as well.
Having been in IT for almost 2 decades, I'd say Dell Latitudes are probably the most reliable in the industry, and I've worked with most of the major brands. Aside from the hardware and Dell's commitment to life-cycle support that matches most corporate hardware refresh time lines (ie. They aren't churning out new business laptop models every 2 months, resulting in a confusion of repair and service issues), their drivers are solid and well tested.
Vote: Dell E6400. Plus I still think "Stinkpad" whenever I see a Thinkpad.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
