Whether or not you actually sin, truly believe in god, stay pure, etc. there will still be people out there who will say you will go to hell. It's unavoidable. The only way to avoid a few groups of people telling you that is if you completely dedicate your lifestyle to a religion.
If you become a priest, or priestess, then people will stop complaining about your "sins." However, if you want to live a more normal life (i.e. Not becoming a priestess) then you will have to deal with a few obsessed people making you think you're living your life wrong.
My advice on the matter is to ignore when they say you'll go to hell for having a boyfriend or doing something that is in simple human nature. I was born Catholic. Baptized, sent to a private Catholic grade school, the whole nine yards.
Later on when I had the choice to follow what I believed in, I turned atheist. A main factor to that was finding out about my apparent homosexuality. Every time someone on my more religious side of the family told me I was "making a wrong choice," it pushed me farther away from it.
Now I live without fear from eternal damnation and judging eyes watching my every move, and I've never been happier. I have been mostly saying things I don't believe in up until this point, so I'll give something I do believe in: I believe that if there is an all powerful god who created us and considers us his children, he would want us to live in a way that we would not do harm to ourselves and to others, and above all, he would respect our personal pursuit of happiness by taking it as a step in our lives, not a sin.
First you need a therapist to help you deal with the OCD. Then you need to find new friends. You really need to let go of religion.
Go meet people who aren't religious and won't be filling your head with garbage. You are a young adult and need to make good, rational decisions about your life without some crazy people scaring you with burning in hell. There are plenty of good teens who have morals and make good decisions and don't have bible thumpers in their lives.
You're 16! How much sinning could you possibly be doing? Go meet some good young people and have some fun in your life.
Talk to your school counselor or an adult friend-- not a religious one. HUGS.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
