Poetry is a great way of expressing yourself.... in fact, writing in general is a nice way of letting emotions out. A prose poem "Desiderata" has always been my favourite. http://www.fleurdelis.com/desiderata.htm - you won't regret reading it!
Yes, sometimes I do write poems. I like it. 1.
Yes, Poems are highly subjective and a great form of art and once a poem is written, obviously no one else can explain the meaning of it apart from the person who has written it down. It is a medium of self expression and sometimes it happens that when you are depressed, and if you just pen your words down, then it may not sound that good, but if they are entwined in the form of a poem then they are a delight to read no matter how depressing the poem is. 2.
It is difficult to say one. However, I do like Robert Frost's Poems a lot. We had this poem, "A Roadside Stand" by Robert Frost last yr in our literature textbook.
I liked it very much. In this poem, apart from the misery of poor people, the poet has also spoken for their cause, has complaint and how does he feel when he look at those poverty stricken people from countryside. http://sites.google.com/site/donslibrary...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
