Prejudice vs Discrimination?

There is a difference but the play into each other. Prejudice is having a negative atitude towards someone and its mainly because race gender and or sex. However discrimination is how you act on those prejudice feeling that you have.

That why there two different words because you can be prejudice with out discriminating. But it can't be vice versa you can't discriminate without having some type of prejudice feelings. Hope that helps.

Prejudice is something that happens inside your own mind. Discrimination is something that happens outside your mind and affects others. Also, discrimination is not necessarily based on prejudice.

If I applied for a job as a surgeon in a hospital, the would "discriminate against me" on the grounds that I'm not a doctor. That's perfectly legal and reasonable discrimination, not based on prejudice but on valid reasons.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
