Preventing duplicate rows based on a column (MySQL)?

If you add a UNIQUE key to the column(s) that have to contain UNIQUE values, MySQL will complain when you insert a row that violates this constraint.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
