I think I can help. It depends on where they put you. I'm sure they won't have you taking orders in the drive thru window on your first day.
Well, hopefully for you they don't. If so, hope to god the back hole is open. It'll make things easier for you.
You might be a front cashier, maybe fries, or they could train you on sandwiches. If you're a front cashier, it's cake. The register has tabs of combos, burgers, chicken or fish, etc. you'll get the hang of it.
It's just remembering where everything is. Fries aren't bad. There's a left-left, right-right rule they should teach you about.
Sandwiches come with time. Remember white, red, green, white, red, green. That's the order of how a sandwich is prepared.
I hope this helps a little. The job is easy. Be nice, smile a lot, and don't get frustrated.
I've worked at Wendy's a year now and I hope this isn't a permanent job for you. It totally blows after a while. You work harder than you get paid.
But good luck!
Expect to learn You will learn alot of new things how to use the reigster, where things are, maybe taking inventory of supplies, you might even learn how to make food Just show up one time and in uniform ready to go, and don't be scared.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
