Question for the people with bikes out there... what car do you have that you recommend? I have a long commute and wanna fit bikes/skis?

I have a Ford Focus and a car rack to transport my bikes and ski's. Many times, ill just take the front tire off and fold down the back seats and my 22 inch bike fits. I actually can even fit 2 backs in my trunk w/ the seats folded down.

Anyways, any car will work to atleast transport 1 bike, but depending on the car, you can always get a car rack which is the ideal way to go. If you have a tow hitch you can also get one of those tow hitch bike racks, which won't scratch your roof at all. Long distances, I would say get a gas efficient sedan with roof racks!

Newer model volvos have a compartment that goes from the trunk to the back seat.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
