Has_many :through doesn't work with has_one relations on the join model; see the following Rails tickets for details: https://rails.lighthouseapp. Com/projects/8994/tickets/1149 https://rails.lighthouseapp. Com/projects/8994/tickets/2719-has%5Fmany-through-should-work-if-the-join-model-uses-has%5Fone-relationship If possible, the best solution is probably to modify your relations so that a Booking belongs_to a Rating rather than has_one Rating.
Great, thanks! I just bumped rails up to 2.3.4 from 2.3.2 and now the association seems to work. – holden Dec 1 '09 at 11:12.
Addition: if I change Bookings to has_many :ratings it works... but bookings will only ever have one rating per booking... so this doesn't seem like a good thing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
