I love rainy afternoons and nights. Sitting on the porch watching it rain, watching my little girl playing with her porch toys. (You know, the chalk board, water colors and all.) At night, hearing the rain hit the roof of the house.
It makes the world seem a smaller place. Some people feel trapped by this, but it's comforting to me. And it helps me sleep.
Works faster than sleeping pills. And snow... I loathe snow.In fact, if there are words that are more deeper in meaning with the same sentiment as "loathe" then I feel that way about snow. That crunchy sound under my boots.
The way it sticks to the back of my neck and melts. Everything about snow, save the snowman creations of Calvin and Hobbes, is evil.
Rainy days always get me down. All gray and damp and dreary. Now a snowy afternoon!
Oh boy, maybe we'll get out of school tomorrow and we can build a snowman and go skating and sledding and build forst and have a snowball fight. And don't the fields and trees look just beautiful after a fresh snow, and you go for a walk before their are any tracks in the snow. The when we're too tired to go back out, we'll sit by the fireplace and drink hot chocolate!
Now tell me, when it rains all afternoon, what do you look forward to the next day, pumping the seepage out of the basement? Keep the rain, give me snow. youtube.com/watch?v=dPmbT5XC-q0.
Rainy days, everyone can get back to work early the next day as the weather is warm. You can't build in snow.
I love rainy afternoons everything smells so fresh and clean after a rain. I loathe the snow and have had quite enough of it. Unfortunately they are calling for the possibility of heavy snow this weekend.
I like both really. I don't have weather related mood issues normally though I might feel a bit happier on bright sunny days. Both days are good excuses to lounge around in pajamas.
Rainy days though, you might still have to go to work. Some snowy days get everyone out of work. I do like to see freshly fallen snow, but that only lasts until the cars make it all dirty and slushy.
Both days have their pros and cons.
Snowy afternoons for sure. The new snow makes everything look fresh and clean. I actually enjoy getting bundeled up and taking my dog for a walk in it.
I don't mind going out to shovel it either.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
