Reanimating dead VGA. When the VGA is inserted in PCI-e slot, motherboard won't start booting. No visible reason for the card to not work?

Try this. It worked for one guy, it might work for you. hackaday.com/2009/05/31/ghetto-electroni... but by the way you describe it, it may be a problem with the vga power supply. It might be sucking too much power from the motherboard, causing it to go into a failsafe shutdown mode, which would explain the stopped fans.

Might there be a separate power input on the vga directly from the PSU? If so, that would be another connection to check. Hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
