I have the H5ICAT (5") with 5020SC (specular clear w/ white trim). I just installed 6 of them in my livingroom and am limited to either:BR30 - 60 watt - Socket in HIGH positionPAR30 - 75 watt - Socket in LOW positionSo...before I buy a bunch of lights, I took a quick look here and here:Par30:electricalsupplies4less.stores.ya...BR30... lumens on the BR is 730 with 2500hrs. The lumens on the PAR is 600 with 2500hrs.
However, the BR would sit higher in the can (and benefit from the specular trim reflection more), the PAR would sit lower. Questions:1. Given I want the most light, I assume I choose FLOOD instead of SPOT, right?2.
Which lightbulb am I better off with for general livingroom overhead lighting? Should I always go with higher lumens if rated hours are the same and cost is a non-issue? Asked by spup345 38 months ago Similar questions: Recessed lighting bulb BR30 60w PAR30 75w Home > Home Improvement.

The height of your ceiling will make a difference. The halogen PAR lamp will provide a brighter, whiter light, but the flood capabilities of the lamp are very limited. Unless you have a high ceiling you will end up with bright spots on your floor. In a standard height ceiling situation, I recommend the BR30 65W lamp.
The lighting will be diffused much better, so you will have more even lighting, and the room will seem brighter overall. Another detail you don't have factored in is that the PAR30 lamp has a shorter profile than the BR30. Both lamps will have essentially the same filament position with the BR30 in the high socket position, and the PAR30 in the low socket position.
I keep intending to get some comparison pictures put together, and probably have something in my offline album, but sorry, nothing to give you a look at the sort of comparison you need. If you can't find a comparison at a store display, then I recommend getting one of each lamp, and compare, before making your final decision. Sources: 16 years in the electrical trade .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
