Remote Shutter Hack for Nikon P100 to control with microcontroller?

Not the answer you are looking for, maybe... If push came to shove, I might believe Nikon lenses are better than Canon's. But... Just wanted to make you aware that Canon cameras have been hacked extensively. You can, apparently, substitute firmware for the camera's and add a number of features.

You might find you don't even need to trigger the shutter externally as the new firmware may contain a feature you intended for the external micro. I don't know what Canon thinks of this. Personally, I think it opens up a formerly closed market.

For instance, you may now buy a Canon over a Nikon just because the Canon cameras can be hacked. -good luck source: chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_for_Dummies.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
