Just go through the "restore" process again. If the process to restore your computer to "factory settings" is accomplished with a hidden partition that is accessed via a boot option, just redo the steps you took to begin the process. If the process to restore your computer to "factory settings" is accomplished by booting from a "restore" disk, just redo the steps you took to being the process.
If you do not have a "restore" disk and your computer does not have an option to restore it in the BIOS settings, please post that information.
Well I believe you need a boot disc for it now. If it had vista you can buy a vista anytime upgrade and reinstall vista and your product code should be on the bottom of the laptop if it came preloaded.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
