Will restoring my laptop to factory default settings get rid of viruses?

I will agree with turtle. Its not always possible to delete the virus. It depends what type and kind of virus do you have.

Once I had a virus that blow out my monitor so nowadays its not a miracle about the new viruses that you might have so my best opinion is to format the hdd and run a virus check with bit-defender after.

Maybe, but you can always get an antivirus program and scan for viruses, it'll delete them. If that is not what you're looking to do then you can always system restore if you have a free of virus backup otherwise reinstall windows if you have the disc or atlast factory reset if it resets EVERYTHING. Antivirus programs: AVG, Avast and other trial versions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
