Retainers versus Ortho Braces: I'm 21 years old and have a slight overbite. Could this be corrected with a retainer instead of expensive braces?

My daughter had her braces removed after 2.5 years. Her top teeth are now fanned forward. The dentist said that it is an overbite and and will fix itself in two years.

My daughter has a small lower jaw and the orthodontist said he did all he could without jaw surgery. We are not pleased with the inward angle. Can we ask him to pull them back straight and forget correcting the overbite?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
