As a former Captain,he still has lots of things to offer for his predecessor but as a batsman he is not performing which is sad to see from a great player of Ricky Ponting's Class, especially after the splendid test series run. The decision on when he should retire depends on him cos he still believes he can make use of his experience in batting for his team's success but it is just not happening which is sad.It would be great if he chooses to step down himself as a great player that he is.
It is sad that Ponting was dropped. He should have moved on himself. Now that CA has shown it is prepared to drop an underperforming star, maybe the BCCI will follow suit.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
