Riddle: What flies when they're on and floats when they're off?

If they were on a bird --they would be able to fly and if they fall off the bird they would float---so I think the answer is FEATHERS! Your pal! Me The Rocketeer .

Feathers! Whew, I'm glad I came up with feathers, instead of my initial guess of "bugs" (the whole on/off thing wouldn't have made sense). When feathers are on a bird, they fly.

When feathers fall off a bird, the feathers float....or the bird's dead corpse floats because a hunter's shot them out of mid-air, sending feathers flying and the bird lands in a shallow lake where it floats. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
