RON PAUL 2012 -- I'M BEGGING YOU! PLEASE WAKE UP AMERICA! -?

The Republican Party is all about a particular agenda. They want a candidate who supports this agenda. In 2000 they picked GW Bush long before the primary season even began.

John McCain was the 'maverick' in that election. The party leaders didn't trust him with their agenda, so when he won the first big primary, in New Hampshire, they decided to destroy his candidacy with a vicious smear campaign in the next big primary state, South Carolina. McCain went off to lick his wounds and decided to become a Team Player.

So he came back to endorse Bush, and was a Bush Booster for 8 years. In the 2008 election all the major candidates signed on to the Republican Agenda, they all had all the same positions on all the same issues. One of the reasons McCain lost so big was that he wasn't able to distance himself from Bush's failures.

He wasn't even able to (or allowed to) admit that Bush had made some 'honest mistakes' and tell us how he'd do anything differently. Party leaders also don't trust Ron Paul. He doesn't support the Party Agenda.

He has his own thinking, his own agenda and proposals, so the party leaders will never let him be nominated. If he does well in 2012 they will torpedo him just as they did McCain in 2000.

Quite possible. The thing is, Paul, while blunt and outspoken, isn't a blowhard. And you have to be a blowhard and a gasbag to win a presidency in this country.

I am voting for Ron Paul to the end, but people see an older, soft-spoken grandpa and not the brilliant man he is. I do hope he gets enough media time this time around so that even if he doesn't make it, he can say... "I TOLD YOU SO." Media ignored him last time.

Disgusting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
