Well first, does it shake only while moving or during idle too. If it does during idle and this isn't normal, you might want to check your engine. If it's only while moving, there are a few things to check.

Look over your wheels. A chunk of tire missing (which can be done by a pothole) can cause shaking, as can a bent wheel or loose or missing lug nuts. Your tires may need balanced as well, and you could have an alignment problem.
