Yes, but sometimes will rest laying down but they will not stay down for long for eventually their tummies will start twisting and its not good for them...this is why some times you have to help a horse get up if they are having a hard time.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
