It's all relative, meaning that "good" depends on the school you're applying to and the major you're pursuing. If you major in Psychology, for example, the average score is 1484. For Mathematics (1681) or English Language (1659), you're right at average.
Likewise, the average score at Iowa State is around a 1000 not including the writing portion. At Yale, however, the average score is 2265 including the writing. You need to look at the school you're applying to as well as your major before deciding if you're happy with your score.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
