The feeling never goes away I am 67 and still wonder what it will feel like when I am elderly.
No. I've only begun to think about it in the past four years when I injured my knee and the surgery didn't do such a hot job. Mobility is an issue and since my arthritis gets worse with each passing year I do think (briefly) about my ability to get around.
Especially when I see elderly people using walkers and canes and needing assistance even when using them. Actually, I guess in a sense I AM elderly. Even though only 69 I often feel much, much older.
I can only sleep a few hours at a time because of arthritic pain in shoulders, knee and back and am looking forward to my PT for the shoulder problem.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
